Clinical Research & IRB Approval

We are currently conducting an IRB-approved phase II/III clinical study titled "Evaluation of Cultured Expanded Allogeneic, Cord-Derived Mesenchymal Stem Cells, Deployed via Intravenous Injection for Safety and Effect on Systemic Inflammation.

This study is registered with the government of the Cayman Islands and subjected to third party IRB reviews on a 12-month basis.

Our patient-funded clinical trial is located in the Cayman Islands, and licensed by the government of the Cayman Islands.

In accordance with the FDA regulations, an Institutional Review Board (IRB) is charged with the authority to approve, require modifications in, or disapprove of research.

Their role is crucial in protecting the rights and welfare of human research subjects participating in medical studies or trials.

Having IRB approval ensures that our treatment protocol continuously undergo rigorous third-party review to ensure the protection of the patients' rights and welfare, which is crucial because the patients are also research subjects.

This approval assures, both before the start and during periodic reviews, that appropriate measures are taken to protect the rights and welfare of the people participating as subjects in the research.

In both locales, these procedures can only be performed as part of a clinical study. As such, DVC Stem conducts a patient-funded IRB approved phase II/III clinical study, adhering to strict guidelines and procedures.
